Competition Terms & Conditions

Image Submission Requirements: For an image submission to be valid it must meet the following criteria:

• Must be original work, created by the participant
• Must be representative of plus size women and BBWCupid.com
• Must be submitted in .jpg .bmp .gif or .png format
• Must not be more the 5MB in size.

Any image submissions entered into the promotion are subject to the terms and conditions of the site BBWCupid.com available at http://www.bbwcupid.com/Terms_Cond.cfm. By participating in the contest, the participant declares and accepts in advance that he/she will have no intellectual or financial rights over the submission and all submissions become property of the Promoter and agrees that the Promoter may use the images, keep it in its archives and/or publish it on the Internet or through other media as the Promoter sees fit.

The Promoter maintains the right:

• To alter/rework submissions
• To determine if submissions are used for any purpose
• To determine if the submissions correctly represent the core values of the BBWCupid.com brand.

How to Enter: All entries should be emailed as an attachment to competition@bbwcupid.com with “Facebook Profile Pic Competition” in the subject line. Please include your full name and your email address in the body of the email.

The participant must be 18 years or older at the time of entering the promotion. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries.

Timing: The promotion commences on July 23rd 2010 at 12:00AM Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST) and ends on August 13th 2010 (the “Promotional Period”). Entries received after this closing time will be ineligible for entry.

Promoter’s Judging Period: August 13th 2010 – August 16th 2010
Facebook Judging Period: August 18th 2010 – August 25th 2010
Notification of Winners: August 27th 2010

Determination of Winners: Three finalists will be determined by a voting panel selected by the Promoter. The finalist entries will be uploaded to the BBWCupid.com blog where users will be invited to vote for the winning image that best represent the qualities of BBWCupid.com

The winner will be notified via email with detailed instructions on how to redeem the prize.
The winner will also be announced on the BBWCupid.com Facebook page and via Twitter

Prize: The winner will receive a 12 month Platinum membership for BBWCupid.com and a $100 cash prize. The cash prize will be paid by the most appropriate method as determined by the Promoter and may utilize bank transfer, Western Union or another means of payment.

The non-cash component of the prize cannot be converted into cash. The prize is not transferable.

The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in prize value.

Neither the Promoter nor any other person or party associated with this promotion shall be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with either participation in this promotion or with any prizes offered.

The Promoter collects entrants’ personal information in order to conduct the promotion. If the information requested is not provided, the entrant may not participate in the promotion. Acceptance of the prize is deemed consent for the Promoter to use the winner’s details and photographs for promotional and media purposes without any further reference, payment or other compensation to the entrant.
