Chocolates, flowers and jewelry are the holy trinity of Valentine’s Day. But have you noticed how these are all female-centric gifts? Sure, a guy might love eating chocolates but I hardly think he’s going to appreciate a gourmet box of Godiva as much as his girlfriend. So ladies, are you making Valentine’s Day all about yourself? How about making the man in your life feel a little special this year too?

If you’re having trouble thinking of a gift, games and technological gadgets are a good bet. Most boys love it! I know it’s a stereotype but it works in most cases. If your man is different, refer to the point 3!
- Play Genie For A Day
Is there something your guy’s been longing for? Is it the new Wii game or maybe just a new wallet? If you don’t know, ask his friends. You might think a video game is a silly gift; but for him, it might be the perfect present. If you get him something he really wants irrespective of whether you like it or not, you’ll be like a genie fulfilling his wishes.

If there is nothing in particular that he wants, give him a gift that at least suits his personality. So, if he loves music, you can buy him a few CDs of his favorite music. Do your plans and dates always involve what you like to do? A romantic candle-lit dinner is more likely to be a girl’s perfect date than a guy’s. So this year, why don’t you plan a day full of boy activities? Maybe go to the park and play his favorite sport with him; or watch that action movie he’s been longing to see. Think about what your man likes to do and plan a Valentine’s Day full of his favorite activities.
