Top 5 Reasons She’s Attracted to a Big Handsome Man

We talked before of women finding BHMs attractive and discussed whether or not it is possible for a Big Handsome Man to get liked by a woman irrespective of her size. While the jury will be probably always be out on that one, I thought it might be a good idea to research some reasons a Big Handsome Man is liked.

These are the top five reasons women are attracted to a Big Handsome Man. I should point out here that this is not an individual opinion. These reasons are a cumulative list of answers and opinions expressed by various women and not just mine alone.

1. He’s Tough and Cuddly
   Women like a tough guy just as much as they like someone they can cuddle. A Big Handsome Man is a perfect combination of both. His fat makes him cuddly and makes a woman want to snuggle with him. At the same time, his big size almost makes him seem like a protective figure for her.
   
   
2. He’s Nicer than the Athletic Types
   When you know women are vying for your attention, it’s bound to go to your head right? I know not all athletic type guys are this way but I’m just going for a stereotype here. Fat guys are usually considered to be nicer and sometimes women just want a nice guy you know. He may be fat, but looks don’t always matter. A plus size guy has a personality that is more attractive than anything else.
   
   
3. He really is Attractive
   Like BBW Women, plus size men find it hard to believe that a woman could actually find them attractive enough to want to be with them. But this does happen. There are many women who fare attracted to men because of the fat.
   
   Sample this comment by Ginger, a die hard FFA: “Many women tell me "there's more to love," or "they're just like big, cuddly teddy bears," and so on. I agree, but I go far beyond that. I am sexually attracted to big men. I am a genuine fat admirer. I am attracted to the same things as male FAs: cellulite, rolls, double chins, round faces, huge bellies, etc. I am attracted to the way fat moves; how it jiggles and sways. I am attracted to fat people's mannerisms; the way they walk and how their bodies move. I am turned on when I see a man with a huge stomach using his belly to rest his folded hands, for example. I am also turned on by other themes and fantasies familiar to my fellow FAs, like outgrown clothing and progressive weight gain. So to say that I merely prefer big men is not enough. My sexuality is identified with my preference.”
   
   
4. He’s Confident
   I think this is the bottom line in every relationship. Believing in yourself automatically makes you attractive to others. To quote another BHM Admirer, Heidi from the same article in Metro cited below, “I've only ever dated big men who were happy with themselves but that's getting harder to find nowadays. If I suspect a man has a “woe is me, I'm fat” attitude, I wouldn't get involved. But if he considered himself a Big Handsome Man, then I would be interested. Nobody wants to date someone who hates their body.”

5. Is it just a Power Trip?
   Okay, this might not be the best point to list but I’m being honest about the reasons women are attracted to bigger men so it wouldn’t be fair to leave this one out. Fat men are stereotypically the underachievers as says Dr Swami in this article. He says, “In developed countries, fat is associated with laziness and bigger people are often denigrated in society. This makes these women the stronger, more accepted ones and challenges typical gender assumptions. When men date fat women, they are called “feeders” and get pleasure from feeding her and being dominant. This could also be the case here. “
